Background

There are many gas steamers in kitchens of a theme park. Due to the high rate of steam generation and water cannot be treated by chemical means, serious mineral scale was resulted as shown in picture 1 and 2. One man day was required to mechanically remove the scale in the annual maintenance procedure in the past.

In between the annual maintenance was a huge amount of gas consumption as more energy is required to overcome the heat barrier imposed by the scaling substance.

As referred by a hotel, management decided to install HydroFLOW for the gas steamer application.

Result

After one year of operation without pre-cleaning of the water chamber, most of the scaling substance dissolved as shown in picture 3. The maintenance work takes only half an hour now. The result is satisfied by the customer.
